Position – Mechanical Design Engineer

Rate – Circa £32.50 per hour Umbrella Co

Duration – 8 Weeks + possible extensions

Industry – Aerospace

Security Clearance – Minimum BPSS / SC clearance to be in place

Location – Pitstone, Buckinghamshire, UK

Position;

We have a new requirement for a Mechanical Design Engineer for a period of 7-8 weeks. Would be great if you could forward myself and Tanya candidate detail and proposal to discuss further.

Ideally candidate should have the below skills/competencies.

•             Proficient in the operation of NX6 and Teamcentre

•             Detailed understanding of design for manufacture and design for assembly methods

•             Configuration management of the product bill of materials

•             Perform all tasks allocated within his/her capability within the field of Mechanical Design Engineering, carry out all work undertaken with efficiency and accuracy.

•             Operate in accordance with agreed clients Electrical & Power (UK) processes, with all deliverables being to the designated agreed standard.

•             Support the Programme Manager and Product Lead Engineer to ensure the technical integrity of the product and that it meets all performance, reliability, cost and safety requirements.

•             Comply with relevant regulatory requirements pertaining to the work programme
