Position – Avionics Inspector
Type – Contract
Rate – £45.00 per hour Umbrella Co OR PAYE equivalent (DOE)
Duration – 12 Months +
Hours – Typically 38 hours per week 
Determination – Inside IR35
Security – UK BPSS Security Clearance to be in place
Location – Middle Wallop, Stockbridge, Hampshire

The Role

  • The role has responsibility for undertaking and overseeing all aspects of Gazelle aircraft and component avionic maintenance activities appropriate to trade and experience within the scope of the                   company MAA approvals.
  • Supervise/Inspect Gazelle aircraft avionic and component maintenance tasks appropriate to trade boundary via a company approval at 2/3 signature level.
  • Completion of all Gazelle aircraft and component documentation in accordance with published procedures and instructions via MF700 and GOLDesp.
  • Compliance with all relevant Quality, Health, Safety and Environment regulations for the team and site operations, exercising a duty of care promoting a positive approach towards workplace health and          safety.
  • The role maybe required to work shift and to support detachments and weekend work in support of training exercises.
  • Able to be security cleared to a minimum of SC.
  • We value difference and don’t have a fixed idea when it comes to background or education, provided you are current and can show the required and level of experience and impact to undertake the main tasks. You will need to demonstrate:

  • Accredited Aircraft Apprenticeship, Service (or civilian equivalent) trade training – Avionic to NVQ level 3 or equivalent with 5 years relevant trade experience, which demonstrates the practical and                   theoretical standards required.
  • Gazelle aircraft maintenance experience.
  • F700C/GOLDesp training and experience.
  • Experience within a MRP 145 maintenance environment.
  • A full driving licence.
  • The right candidate will be able to display a positive attitude to working independently and within a team.
