Our client is ideally looking for a Project / Programme Manager with experience within the Electric Vehicle automotive industry.

Purpose of the role is to…

  • Create transparency and clarity throughout the business with regards to what the programme is trying to deliver, when, and what’s needed to do it successfully
  • Make complex ideas, plans and actions, simple, understandable and accessible to all
  • Influence and align the business with drive and determination, pushing to deliver against aggressive targets, setting the drumbeat and tone as part of an Engineering led business

  • Deliver the programme, by:

    • Enabling alignment of all key stakeholders across the value chain
    • Creating programme plans to deliver to business need
    • Making sure all stakeholders are aware of programme requirements
    • Identifying and mitigating risks and barriers to progress
    • Tracking & reporting on status vs key plan dates and technical targets
    • Setting a positive tone and work to motivate all project stakeholders and team members
    • Driving and facilitating a formal, disciplined gateway review process effectively
    • Processing ECNs (Engineering Change Instructions) ensuring the requirements are clearly communicated and aligned with the programme needs
    • Identify resources required to achieve programme targets and drive the relevant functions to provide this resource
    • Supporting supplier design agreements to engage the supplier early in the design process and minimise time from idea to stores and cost.
