Role description / task:

Role to modify and support a fix to some legacy software for the S80 submarines Launch Control System. The S-80 programme is the first modern submarine of Spanish design and will deliver a state of the art underwater capability to the Armada Española. Babcock plays an integral role on the platform, with it’s customer Navantia, bringing to bear extensive experience and world leading proprietary technology to deliver the Weapon Handling and Discharge Equipment (WHDE) and Acoustic Countermeasures Launchers (ACM) for the four boat class.

Required Experience /Qualification /Attributes:
• VxWorks
• Real time C++
• UML
• Ideally Rational Rose Realtime, but would consider those without
• Familiarity with legacy development environments / operating systems (Windows XP)
• BPSS required to start, preferably SC
