Position – RSE / PSSE Project Manager
Type – Contract
Rate – £60.00 per hour Umbrella Co OR PAYE equivalent (DOE)
Duration – 12 Months +
Hours – Typically 38 hours per week
Determination – Inside IR35
Security – UK BPSS / SC Security Clearance to be in place – (Must be UK National)
Location – Devonport, Plymouth, UK / Remote (2 days per week office based)
Start Date – ASAP !

Please note – Due to security clearance – Must be sole UK National !

Principal Tasks and Responsibilities;

Deliver key project management functions in support of the overall project delivery, including schedule, financial and risk functions.
Capture / develop and agree requirements for RSE & PSSE.

Development of the procurement strategy, production of scopes of work and management of tender / contract award (including production of CE’s and quotations for review by the MOD client).
For BMP related equipment (currently 3 pieces), draft and obtain approval for a delivery plan to achieve commissioning by Q3 2022.

Manage the integration of the RSE & PSSE into the 5 basin berth and 10 dock design solutions.

Apply the Business Management System (BMS) appropriately for the project and produce and communicate project reporting data on Enterprise resource Planning (ERP) systems.
Support the development of accurate and up-to-date financial and schedule estimates to ensure the project is accurately planned and reported
Identify and schedule resource on Gantt charts and ERP systems.

Forecast costs and monitor and report against budget. Draft WIF’s for approval and obtain budgetary release. Provide accurate information to the PC’s team for maintenance of control functions.
Maintain project cost and time estimates and ensure regular reviews are undertaken with each discipline to ensure they are accurate.
Undertake aspects of stakeholder management and communications activities are required and support development of stakeholder management
Manage under supervision the risk process including the identification, assessment, planning and implementation of risks, opportunities and issues

Academic:
A degree in engineering / project / construction management or a related field (or other qualifications e.g. HNC / HND with high level of demonstrable delivery experience).

NSQAC (desirable)

Other:
Risk Assessors Training (desirable)
Risk Assessor Approvers Training (desirable)
Health & Safety Management of Subcontractors Training
IOSH / similar (or prepared to undertake)
NEC 3 / 4 – Awareness course (minimum)
BIM – MIP Training modules (upon role commencement)

Experience;
Demonstrable experience in a Project Management position, ideally delivering nuclear / radiologically implicated systems within a licensed site environment.
