Role: FPGA Firmware Engineer

Location: On-Site in Gloucestershire full-time
Rate: £550 – £700 per day dependant on experience
IR35: INSIDE
Duration: 6-Months
Essential Skills: VHDL experience; Experience with modern FPGA tool chains (Intel preferred but would consider Xilinx, Achronix or similar); Experience of integration with embedded blocks; ACTIVE SC CLEARANCE (or SC clearable may be considered)

One of our major Defence clients is in need of an FPGA Firmware Engineer to join them on a 6-month contract basis. 

As an FPGA Firmware Engineer, you will be responsible for:
– Contributing to full product lifecycle from concept, design through to delivery
– Working with Intel FPGA’s and developing code using VHDL
– Integrating FPGA designs with embedded blocks 

The successful Control Systems Engineer will need:
– VHDL experience
– Experience with modern FPGA tool chains (Intel preferred but would consider Xilinx, Achronix or similar)
– Experience of integration with embedded blocks
– Active SC clearance
