Accountable for system design and development activities relating to system integration using SAP technology including PI/PO (and AAE), Cloud Platform Integration(CPI) and BOOMI
Delivery of the System Integration service and configuration working with the 3rd party suppliers to ensure delivery of integration solutions
Developing personal and technical skills to ensure constant delivery of high quality services for System Integration within SAP and systems outside of SAP
Be a subject matter expert in SAP Integration and data flow technologies providing guidance across the stakeholder community, working within the Applications team to ensure all integrations are fit for purpose and deliver business value.
Engage with both agreed suppliers and agreed business users using the agreed processes
Ensure Integration services are delivered within and meet agreed SLA timescales
Manage the end to end integration supporting the solution lead for that functional area to ensure the processes using this data are robust
Ensure all tasks are specified and approved via the proper approval boards, including review, approval and senior management
Ensure delivery of good customer service through delivery of consistent, well documented, configuration of agreed Integration solution.
Responsibilities;
Deliver specific Integration solutions for projects using agreed standards and governance processes
Control the configuration of all integration solutions and ensure the installation is correctly managed by the 3rd party suppliers where applicable
Complete 3rd line support issues/problems for Integration services to agreed SLAs
Ensure solutions feed into operational metrics, scorecards, issue tracking and status
Ensure solutions feed into operational metrics, scorecards, issue tracking and status reports delivered through the systems integration service
Ensure any configurations and development work is completed and tested within agreed timescales and delivered to the standard and/or management application agreed with your line manager and change manager
Ensure functional requirements and designs are agreed with the stakeholder community and delivered in line with IS standards and processes working with the quality and test team to drive up quality
Ensure consistent application and systems documentation is updated when projects and smaller changes are implemented
Work within the team to identify and suggest existing or new emerging standards and best practice for the service
Ensure any costs incurred are for an agreed project or existing budgeted SLA
Ensure all technical decisions taken are commercially aware and support business, Innovation and IT strategies
Manage your time to deliver activities to agreed timescales for new business, new contracts and mobilisations
Ensure you meet regularly with your line manager and complete the PDR process throughout the year
Ensure you work actively to improvement and enhance service delivery
Ensure best value for the business and identify potential areas of functionality to exploit
Manage your time to deliver to agreed timescales your activity for agreed projects
Ensure you work with your line manager to agree a career path to develop your knowledge and skills to support the business better
Ensure solutions for the operational teams are delivered to an agreed standard with the business and suppliers
Follow all agreed processes for the information management team and the wider business
All solutions delivered should be to an agreed standard using agreed industry methodologies
Ensure all relevant documentation is produced to agreed standards for the service, all processes and technical information to build and manage the application must be managed in a structured format
Ensure all work carried out is either support service within an agreed SLA or Project sanctioned by the Neptune Project Management
Train and guide other team members

Essential;
Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university or equivalent
At least 5-7 years of integration development experience using SAP PI/PO
Experience with developing solutions for ABAP, Java and CPI
Experience with creating or use of XML schemas for use in performing data mapping
Knowledge and understanding of SAP core modules: Enterprise Core Component (ECC), SAP/ERP implementation, and interface types (IDOC, RFC calls and ALE)
Knowledge of AD, LDAP, Federated AD, SSO and security protocols in supporting the configuration of interfaces
Knowledge and understanding of software development and testing methodologies
Experience working with Enterprise Application Integration (EAI), Message Oriented Middleware (MOM) or Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) patterns and applications
Skills
Resolution of System Integration issues and problems through Remedy/Service Desk
Experience of delivering work using waterfall and agile methodologies
Very strong experience with security requirements and authentication protocols to ensure protection against data leakage
Strong experience designing business process diagrams and data flows within relevant written documentation
Good experience of understanding and writing business requirements, specification writing and delivery of business focussed technical solutions to an agreed and tested standard
Experience delivering solutions to an agreed standard using agreed industry methodologies
Proven experience of debugging ABAP from a data integration perspective
Proven experience working in a small team delivering technical solutions to business requirements for internal and external customers
Ability to deal with and manage conflict whilst building successful business relationships across a range of stakeholder groups
Good Understanding of Integration landscapes involving Central and Decentral Adapter Engines.
Good knowledge of Netweaver Developer Studio (NWDS) and iFlows.
Good knowledge of iCo Flows
Desirable;
Experience delivering Integration services between cloud and on premise solutions and systems
Experience integrating high volume telemetry feeds to trigger work within SAP
A full driving licence
Clean driver’s license
Security;
Must have UK Nationality and be able to gain SC clearance
