Position – Stress Engineer

Location – Remote / South Wales

Industry – Aerospace / Aviation

Rate – Circa £33.50 per hour Umbrella Company 

Hours – 40 hours per week

Duration – 3 months + (potential for 1 year extension)

Software – Altair (Optistruct / Hypermesh) 

Our client are currently looking for a contract position for a Stress Engineer orientated for weight saving/optimisation activities.

We would need someone with some experience into optimising structure based on load paths, materials,…

The ideal candidate would have experience with Altair software suite (Optistruct, Hypermesh) would be very good.

Experience in aircraft interior or automotive interior will be a plus.

The contract will be for an initial period of 3months (confirmed)+ 3months (90% confirmed) with potential extension to 1year.

Location will be WFH for a start with some potential onsite meetings. 

The hardware will have to be collected from our clients offices in South Wales. In the future a flexible way of working (3days in the office, 2 days from home) will be implemented
