Junior/Midlevel – Electronic Design Engineer, Derby, up to £40,000

We have a great opportunity for a junior to midlevel Electronic Design Engineer to work for UK privately owned Research and Development organisation with the strategic objective of assisting the UK to develop world class Cyber solutions.

Our multi-disciplined experts have a significant track record in applied Cyber solution engineering.

The role of Design Engineer will be exposed to many elements of Product Design process and will assist in the daily operation. Duties will include, but not limited to the following tasks:

This is what you’ll be doing

• Development and innovation for product electronic designs and prototyping
• PCB design and layout and fault fin
• Producing and testing prototype
• Develop test solutions to problems to ensure product quality
• Qualification, test, and requirements management aspects of physical design, including EMC and radio performance etc

Your skill set will include elements of the following

• Analogue Electronic Hardware Design
• PCB layout

Desirable skills

• Self-motivated to work with minimal supervision
• Embedded C would be desirable 

Salary and Benefits

• Up to £40,000
• 25 days holidays + bank holidays
