We are looking for a Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental (QHSE) Technician, to work closely with the QHSE Manager and build relationships with the Production, Warehouse, Buying and Development Departments. The successful candidate will have an eye for detail and care passionately about the delivered Quality of our products, experience of working within the electronics industry would be beneficial with strong data and product failure analytical skills.    

• Inspect incoming parts (IQC) and finished goods (FQC) by applying the quality inspection plan and AQL Sampling Plan. Detect any non-conforming (NC) parts and preparation of NC parts to be returned to supplier for rework / replacement.
• Investigate parts / product failure (incoming / production). Report any root-cause findings for corrective action / improvement.
• Generate / update any quality related documented information (policy quality plan, working instructions, and procedure) for Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental.
• Generate Supplier Quality Problem Reports (SQPR) with affected batch and NC details.
• Generate concession for parts for production / supplier CEM use. Communicate concession with relevant department personnel and supplier.
• Carry out the site H&S routine inspection and record the inspection results on MTL share drive.
• Arrange the waste collection (ie: electronic waste, battery waste, etc) with planning team when is needed.
• Arrange test equipment for external calibration and update the calibration register.
• Support documentation process in Quality and H&S (part of ISO 9001 requirements).
• Support production / quality in product returned by customer (investigation findings and summary report).
• Support QHSE manager in H&S information / updates / risk assessment / training.
• Arrange the site routine inspection / service maintenance.
• Update the H&S KPIs (ie: PPE usage, COVID related incident) that is assigned by the quality manager by month-end.
• Participate in Quality and H&S meeting.
